Defibrillation AED Course
Healthcorp’s Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to enable them to effectively use an AED as part of the resuscitation process to a victim who has suffered a cardiac arrest.
- The chain of survival
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)
- Resuscitation techniques
- Safety issues relating to the AED
- Maintenance and use of the AED
- Perform CPR in line with ARC guidelines
There are no pre-requisites for this Defibrillation AED course. Students must be at least 14 years of age at the time of attendance.
Heathcorp’s Defibrillation AED course is available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Australia-wide.
The face to face training is 2 hours and covers both theory and practical aspects of Defibrillator Training. Students are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the course commencement or will be refused entry.

Upon successful completion a certificate of attendance will be issued.
Once enrolled, Healthcorp will email students a Defibrillator training booking confirmation with venue details and maps, course requirements and terms of enrolment.
