Face-to-Face Workshops:

cpd-9hrs These hands on workshops provide you with a comprehensive understanding of orthopaedic pathologies, the most popular current surgical techniques and upcoming developments. The workshop topics currently available throughout Australia and New Zealand are Shoulder Arthroscopy and Knee Arthroscopy, with more topics coming soon. These face-to-face workshops include e-learning modules to be done prior to the event.

Shoulder:

  • The participant will be able trecognise and differentiate Rotator Cuff Tears.
  • The participant will be able trecognise and differentiate Shoulder Instabilities.
  • The participant will be capable of assisting in the best possible treatment process of the patient for Shoulder Pathologies.
  • The participant will gain knowledge of the different Rotator Cuff, Shoulder Instabilities and Biceps repair options.

 

Knee:

  • The participant will be able recognise ACL tears and instabilities.
  • The participant will be able recognise PCL tears and instabilities.
  • The participant will be capable of assisting in the best possible surgical repair process for the patient during a ACL and PCL Repair.
    • Graft option and preparation
    • Tunnel placement and drilling
    • Graft fixation options
  • The participant will gain knowledge of repair options associated with concurrent knee pathologies associated with ACL and PCL.
    • OCD – Osteochondral Defect
    • ALL – Anterolateral Ligament
    • Posterior Meniscal Root avulsion
